WRITING, CONTENT AND BOOK COACHING
Work
with me
creative fire + your essential story = your revolutionary story
One on one creative mentoring for brave humans who are ready to claim their sovereignty, own their stories, and get writing.
What is creative sovereignty coaching?
Three things happen in this work, and they happen in this order more often than not.
Placeholder — write over this. Two or three more sentences here about what the shape of the work feels like from the inside, so this column carries real weight beside the heading instead of trailing off.
Placeholder — one closing line that hands the reader down into the three cards below.
For humans ready to mine the stories of their lives for the wisdom, the autonomy, the truth — and yes, the permission — that their life has to offer.
Finding your freedom
Embracing your wild. Shedding the shame. Owning your desire and the wholeness of yourself.
Charting your own becoming
Dancing to a different drummer. Wandering off the well-worn path on purpose.
Tearing down the paradigm
Unleashing your voice. Writing your story. Spilling the truth. Heralding a new way in.
Thirty minutes, free, and no pitch at the end.
“What would happen if one woman told the truth about her life? The world would split open.”
Muriel Rukeyser
This work is about splitting the world open — and then stitching it back together again with story.
SOVEREIGNTY CATALYST · WORD WITCH · CREATIVE PROVOCATEUR
Hi, I’m Jeanette LeBlanc
Author of You Are Not Too Much.
Over 800 people taught to write.
Coaching, copy, and revolutionary narrative strategy.
This is for you if
Read the five below. If two of them land, book the call — that is genuinely the whole qualifying process.
01
There is a project that has been haunting you for years.
02
Parts of you are unseen, unmet, unexpressed.
03
You apologise on the page before you even start.
04
You have a manuscript you cannot finish alone.
05
You have taken the courses and still have not written it.
There’s no one I know who holds space for writers to write better than Jeanette LeBlanc. Like, for real. We talk for ten minutes and I’m spilling out ten pages of golden truth I didn’t even realize was in me.
How I came to this work
Your story, in your words. I have left the shape and put in only the lines I know are true — write over all of it.
YOURS TO WRITE
I did not set out to teach anyone to write. I set out to stop asking permission myself.
Before
Two or three sentences on where you were writing from before any of this — the version of you who was still waiting to be told she was allowed.
The turn
What changed, and what it cost. The moment the work became this work rather than something else.
Since
Over 800 people taught to write, a book of my own, and the one-on-one work that is this page.
WHAT WE WORK ON
Five ways in. All of them one-on-one, all of them starting with the same call — so you do not have to pick before we talk.
01
Creative sovereignty
Permission work. The inner contract, before the writing.
02
Writing
Craft, structure, habit, voice. One-on-one writing coaching, on the page.
03
Poetry
Poems, collections, and getting them out into the world.
04
Book projects
Book coaching for a manuscript, a memoir or a proposal — traditional or self-published.
05
Creative work
For makers whose medium isn’t only words — and for writers building a newsletter, a Substack or a voice online.
Would you rather I wrote it? That is content concierge — same call, just say so when we talk.
“Stop apologizing.” Those were some of the first words Jeanette said to me. Working with her has helped me see myself as worthy of loving myself while being fully alive instead of just existing — it helped me flip the script on my life.
Kourtney Barnum
Jeanette unlocked creativity and creative ambition in me that I didn’t know needed a nudge. Her technical writing guidance was invaluable, and she helped me build strategies to stay committed to my writing. Jeanette is tenacious and intentional.

Jeanette has inspired the writer within me, which was previously hiding, self-doubtful, scared and feeling blocked.
Louise Walker
Jeanette is a full-throttle freedom doula.

Jeanette shines a compassionate light on the truth underneath my words. I have never felt as seen as when we work together.

Samantha Layzell

Shahd Thani
She took me from writing at a surface level and dropped me 3000 feet. It’s like excavating the soul.

Shannon Crossman
Her wise counsel is literally alchemical as she turned my incessant longing to write into a past memory.
Laurie Nevin
How it works
What the work actually is
I work one-on-one as a mentor, coach and guide with humans ready to reclaim their inborn sovereignty — in their writing, their art, their relationships, the entirety of their lives.
There will be intuitive, personalised homework. Between our work dates I’m there on WhatsApp with unlimited support for whatever you’re building.
We deep dive into exercises that clarify the terms of your contract — with your creative projects, with yourself, in your relationships. Uphold that contract above all others and you stay in integrity with your own soul.

2 spots open per quarter, and that is the whole list
You already have the authority. You have never needed mine.
The secret
Sovereignty is not something I can give you. Like Glinda tells Dorothy — you’ve always had the power. You’ve had it all along.
The catch
Easy for Glinda to say. She floats around in a giant pink bubble and doesn’t deal with partners, children, employers, or pandemics.
Where I come in
I build the container while you expand into the space where you can click your own heels together and know you are your own home.
Start with the call. Decide after it.
Step by step
Stage one is fixed and free. Two, three and four are my guess at the shape your work takes — correct me.
1
Exploration call
Thirty minutes, free. Nothing to prepare. We find out whether this is a fit.
2
Name the contract
The exercises that get the terms down on paper — with the work, with yourself.
3
Do the writing
Work dates, homework, WhatsApp between. The stage that takes the longest.
4
Send it out
Proposal, submission, publication — or simply finished, which counts too.
NOW BOOKING
Two spots a quarter. If they are gone I will tell you on the call rather than leave you waiting.
Thirty minutes to find out whether we should work together.
Nothing to prepare, nothing to send me first.

PLACEHOLDER ANSWERS — WRITE OVER THEM
I’m not a “real” writer yet — is this still for me?
Yes — and here is where you say why. Two or three sentences in your voice: who turns up saying this, what you tell them, and the thing that actually changes once they stop auditioning for the title. Overwrite all of this.
Who is this not for?
Say it plainly. If someone wants the edit but not the excavation, or needs a therapist more than a mentor right now, name that and point them somewhere better. Naming who it is not for is what makes the yes trustworthy.
Can you just write it for me?
That is content concierge — the done-for-you service. Explain briefly how it differs from mentorship, and tell them to book the same exploration call and say so when you talk.
How long do people usually work with you?
Give a real range and what determines it. Say whether there is a minimum, how the work is paced, and what tends to make a longer or shorter engagement the right one.
What if I don’t know what I want to write about yet?
This is a common one — answer it as reassurance rather than a disclaimer. Say what the first sessions do when someone arrives without a project, and that not knowing is a starting point, not a disqualifier.
Is this mentorship, therapy, or something else?
Draw the line clearly and without apology. What you do, what you do not do, and how you handle it when something in the work belongs to a therapist instead.
What if I need to pause or stop?
State your actual policy in your own words — notice, refunds, pausing for a hard season. This is the question people are too polite to ask, so answering it well removes a real objection.
You will have faith in your own revolutionary story. Your voice will be singing loud and clear in ways you never thought possible.
